My beautiful friend Gen had a pre-19th birthday lunch on Sunday. She had set up an outdoor dining setting in her garden, with paper cranes and lanterns hanging from the sky, and bouquets of freshly picked flowers on the table. We enjoyed a scrumptious meal made by her parents, then Gen, Adam and I went by the water to take photos and got distracted by the brightest of sunsets.
